Out in the mist
The Support’s famous trick: it can never be knocked out in the mist — it survives at 1 HP. Whatever the fog throws, a Support walks home, satchel intact, dignity mostly intact. That makes it the safest courier in the game: send it deep, load it up, and watch it limp back with everything you feared losing. A merged Support can also lend its hands to the Builder, shaving real minutes off whatever is under construction — once a day, and the Builder appreciates it.
At home
Support speeds home work. Eggs incubate faster, crops ripen faster, builds finish faster — the whole domestic engine turns quicker with Supports in the roster, and even just walking beside you as your companion it nudges every crew along. If your play style is base-first — ladders, layouts, and the long game — the Support is your archetype, full stop.
In the duel
A Support swings a wrench — a scrappy, stubborn style backed by the same refusal to die it shows in the mist. Its spike leans defensive, and a bred Support line past the ⚡150 Defense mark is the closest thing the Hollow has to a wall: fights against one stop being about damage and start being about patience, which is a game the Support has already won.
Who should raise one first?
Anyone who has ever lost a full satchel one screen from home and felt the injustice of it. Also anyone whose favorite part of the game is the base — the Support makes every timer in your hollow slightly shorter, forever, just by existing.
Pairing and bloodlines
The Support wall is the most single-minded breeding project in the Hollow: Defense, then more Defense. Each stat comes from one parent, so pair your sturdiest Support with the tankiest partner available and keep whichever egg inherits both slabs — past the ⚡150 notch, bonus health stacks onto the archetype’s 1-HP stubbornness until fights against your line simply run out of clock. A healing-after-wins temperament compounds beautifully here. And every cull still has a career: a Support that rolled Crafting instead of Defense is the ideal permanent employee for any crew you never want to think about again.
