Out in the mist

Two things in the mist answer only to a Mystic. Mist-glyphs — strange runes scattered through the fog — can be read by a merged Mystic, and each one read pays a line of the Hollow’s old story, a rune kept forever for your Decor catalog, and sometimes gems where the rune-light hardens. Read them all and the last glyph pays a proper trove. And the mist’s stone relics are a weight no other archetype can lift at all — walk past one without a Mystic and it simply stays where it has stood for a thousand years.

At home

Its stations are the Cauldron and the Keep — a Mystic brews potions and mends the wounded faster than anyone. Tonics revive your fallen fighters, Feeds raise a stat forever, and both start as crops a Mystic turns into medicine. The Mystic’s kitchen quietly feeds your whole roster’s growth; breeders keep one on staff the way farms keep a vet.

In the duel

A Mystic throws an orb matched to its own coat — a caster’s rhythm of charged shots, with the Arcane Nova as its signature art. Its spike leans toward the clever stats, and a Mystic bloodline is usually the one that wins long fights rather than short ones: chip, mend, outlast, and be standing at the end looking faintly smug about it.

Who should raise one first?

Collectors and readers. The glyphs are the Hollow’s story, the relics are its secrets, and both stay sealed until a Mystic walks with you. Even the Mist Sovereign is said to kneel before the arcane — which is a hint, if you are stuck at gate 10.

Pairing and bloodlines

Mystic lines are marathon builds: Defense to survive the long fight, Speed to dodge while the orb charges, and enough of both to make “outlast” a strategy instead of a hope. Pair for whichever half your line lacks and keep the eggs that inherit the other. A mending or after-battle healing temperament suits the archetype’s whole philosophy, and matched traits pass on guaranteed. One practical note from the deep mist: glyphs and relics do not care about stats at all — even a modest Mystic unlocks everything the archetype exists to unlock, so your first one does not need to be your best one.
