Stats and rarity

Four stats, six rarities, one golden notch at 150 — the anatomy of a Mythling.

The four stats

Attack is damage. Defense is health. Speed is how fast you change lanes in a duel — and how briskly you walk the world. Crafting is for jobs, not fighting: it raises what a Mythling earns at a work site, which makes it the stat veterans quietly hoard for their mining crews while new keepers ignore it entirely. Every hatch rolls a spike toward one stat, and its archetype leans which one gets the big roll — Brawlers tend to arrive hitting hard, Supports tend to arrive hard to put down.

The whole animal on one card: power, trait, temperament, special attack, and the bond still to grow.

The ⚡150 mark

Every stat bar carries a small gold notch at 150. Past 150, a stat pays twice. Attack adds bonus damage, Defense bonus health, Speed faster lane-changes and walking, Crafting richer jobs. Wild eggs almost never roll past the notch; chasing a line past it is what breeding is for — each stat comes from one parent, so a chosen line can pile nearly everything into one or two stats over the generations.

Rarity and levels

Six rarities climb from Common through Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary to Mythic. Higher rarity simply means better stats — there is no hidden mechanic behind the colours. Levels come from winning battles — and slowly from working jobs — up to level 20, and every level makes the same creature sturdier. Devotion is worth real tiers: a lower-rarity Mythling raised ten levels past a rarer rival is an even fight, not a sacrifice. The Training Yard grows XP over real time while you are away, and just having it standing pays +15% XP on every battle.

Traits, temperaments, and Friendship

A trait is a small permanent bonus a Mythling is born with — always on, no setup, and the thing bloodline breeders select for, since matching traits always pass to the egg. A temperament is a quirk with one small effect — extra XP, or a little healing after wins — and it never changes; it is personality, not a project. Friendship is the bond grown by fighting beside you, from Stranger up through the tiers to Soulbound; companions grow it fastest, and higher tiers add small perks that stack quietly over a creature’s whole career.

Feeding past the ceiling

Stats are not quite finished at hatch. The Cauldron’s 🍯 Fabled Feed (two Glimmercap, two Mistberry) adds +8 to one stat, forever, up to three feeds per Mythling — and keepers deep in the endgame can distill crops into essence to push three feeds further still. A fed, levelled, Soulbound favorite is a different animal from the day it hatched.

Roll your first spike

Every egg is a fresh roll of the dice — and the dice are loaded by lineage.
